Through the Fishbowl

Minimalist poem.

THROUGH THE FISHBOWL

Through the glass I see my reflection,
ginger orange fins follow like the fan of a geisha.

When the sunlight shines in just so,
the bowl turns the fiery orange of a volcano,
the water waves lukewarm. I sunbathe.

I'm a moving silkscreen,
the canvas fragile
my thoughts shattering shards of static.
