'Since it is all too clear
It takes time to grasp it’
Because our minds guide and steer
Enlightening truths may surpass us
 
We need some time to absorb the light
Radiating evidence shining in the night
Blinked thinking keeps facts thin
When always true clarity beckons us in
 
Meditating on moments works a treat
Looking within for all we seek
Liberating insights, the fruits we reap
In contemplation our hearts can sing

Suzie, this is my first time reading your work. The title grabbed me on the recent poetry list. I am so glad. Blinked thinking...great phrase. Understanding that we "need some time to absorb the light" It is not enough just to see it shine, but absorption is part of the process. I like this very much and I am glad I discovered you today.
