Fellow poets, friends, and associates:
A year or so ago I was about to loose my membership in AD because I just could not afford it. Financial problems brought on because of serious health problems were going to deprive me of one of the great joys of my day-to-day life. At the time a man came forward who up until that point I hardly knew…he paid my membership fees and I have been writing here ever since.
His name…?
George Carrol
I never thanked him personally for this random act of kindness for fear of embarrassing him but perhaps I should have. He is one part of the backbone of AD and when I read his intention to leave our family today because of problems with management I dropped in my tracks, this could not be so. George is to some like a wonderful grand father, to others a father and sounding board, to still others a great friend and confidante but to all he is a friend.
I hope you all will take a moment with me to ask George to reconsider and to ask AD in all it’s infinite wisdom to also realize what a treasure they will be losing if they let such a wonderful member as this slip away.
Thank you,
Felix

I did not know this. As Karen said, the Den would be a much sadder place without George's presence. George: please recondsider; your words are needed here.
Both you and George are in my prayers.

I have read and known George for a long time you will never meet a more generous, kninder being of Godliness and honesty in your life. He is a wonderful friend, poet and brother in Christ. i do hope that this all can be resolved for it would be a great loss to Readers , peers, and the AD Site.
Thank you for letting us know.
Bless you,
Joselyn
