Sometimes what words cannot say...a touch can/

Poem Artwork

Night Touch

By: Felix L. Perry

In the dark of night she feels his touch

To some that may not seem like much

Just a way to bridge a gap opened wide

By angry hatred and useless pride

She stirs in restless sleep to sigh

Is this makeup or his last goodbye

Her hand covers his to meet halfway

No need for them mere words to say

They come together dream on dream

Bodies spoon eyes joyful tears gleam

In dark of night though it seems insane

They’ve found each other once again

I have been here Fee, I loved your lines:

"She stirs in restless sleep to sigh
Is this makeup or his last goodbye
Her hand covers his to meet halfway
No need for them mere words to say"

For me, it was our last goodbye, but it was for the best. I loved the honesty and purity in this poem.
Peace, Love, and Light.

Fee,
Once again, you have used simple words ---- to convey such a deep emotional tie. Your words give life to my feelings. I'm glad you use your God-given talent to brighten my life.

You are soooo right. Words can often be said so very easy, but the feel of that special touch - takes a lot more effort brought forth from both parties...well done.
