Making love to me should be like good poetry soft and gentle, perhaps forceful and driving some imagination thrown in, a great ending that descends into a sated warm lingering embrace...

Poem Artwork

The Sated Bard

In the dark of night, without foresight, with full moon at it’s peak

Looking down on you, what could I do, I lost my words to speak

Like spiralled prose, desire rose, fingers rhyme on their own

Explored desire, fanning passion’s fire, flames we’d never known

Arms reached out, a whispered shout, ‘tis a poet’s favourite time

Tongue to tongue, the night was young, lips projecting every line

This two-headed beast, began to feast, my quill in your ink well

Burst a climatic Ku, a/muse/d to view, our inspired lover’s spell

Then sated bard, played his one card, to his poetess of star-light

Two as one embrace, leather and lace, our sonnet in the night…

Oh my friend!...who could say any day of their lives that they are love satiated? when love appears to be a most powerful drug than any drug made by man? as you felt you can't...then you will have more?
You have got the eternal fire inside, and it will never extinguish, not even with very old days ahead.
