Early morning thoughts...

Poem Artwork

Pillows, Teardrops and Tomorrows

By: Fee

The line between teardrops and laughter

Can’t blur the sweet image of you

A pillow can’t stop holding a memory

If the love between us is true

I called out your name to the ceiling

In a voice I hoped you would hear

The song in my heart kept repeating

How badly I wanted you near

You gave my heart a reason for living

Now yesterday’s just part of before

Dawn’s light will just bring tomorrow

Hearts and souls together once more…

Very sweet from a romantic heart; I agree with Kate on that point. I wonder where the inspiration comes from, if it is from experience or from a soul that is in love with love. :)

Another I can relate to, and it is a bittersweetness that creates the feelings of loss displayed here. This is sad and beautiful.

I can't look at your picture or read your words without thinking of my favourite movie, City Of Angels, Felix. Soul-love transcends all planes, mortal and immortal. There's both in your lovely verses here. Two things spring eternal: youthfulness and hope, and you have both in your soft and seasoned romantic's heart. xx

ah Felix, this puts me in the same mood that "Some Enchanted Evening" from South Pacific does -- sad and so very romantic -- a very insightful read my friend -- peace and love -- Jon Michael

You speak of a love which cannot be but was once a powerful force in your life, that is if you are writing about your own experience. I know how it feels to have loved and lost. Doesn't hurt any more but some sweet memories remain. Hugs, J'nia
