It is magical how sometimes just a smile from someone can capture a heart, that is what this poem is about...

Just the Ghost of a Smile Across the crowded room he saw her His heart skipped a beat for a while Till he summoned enough courage To go see her sweet ghost of a smile A red rose from the roaming vendor From the bar two glasses of wine Made his way to where she was sitting He knew it was almost closing time She was stunning in her tight red dress With a real classy woman kind of style But she truly won his big heart over With just a sweet ghost of a smile They danced the last night of the evening Wrapped in the music of the night They walked along the lake shore Beneath the stars so very bright When he awoke beside her next morning Their clothes on the floor in a pile He knew he’d found his perfect love In just the sweet ghost of a smile…
