The Proposal *Will thy bathe with me my love* *In the bold seas of desire* *Will thou taste our communion* *Of two sets of lips burning on fire* *Will my heart beat on your heart* *My soul soothing your soul* *Will sea birds us bear witness* *When two parts make a whole* *No stiff collared hypocrite cleric* *In false idol palaces of deceit and stone* *Nay, twill be just you and I before God* *We’ll face the master’s verdict alone* *Until that day comes to pass* *Take my hand follow me* *I have a lifetime of love I will share* *All promised only to thee…*
