Awake You With A Kiss

 

　

Coffee perks on that old wood stove

There’s raindrops on the glass

The flowers I picked you yesterday

Scent the air with spring’s perfume

I hear the melody of the breakers song

Outside our little cabin on the shore

Saw grass sways in it’s private dance

I cross the room to our feather bed

Such an outdated relic from the past

You dream  in last night's tangled sheets

Comforted in the warmth love makings's afterglow

I place ourcoffee on wicker night stands

Then let my overflowing love

Felix, this is as smooth as silk sheets and soft as feather pillows. You ad just a bit of edge with the marvelous wicker night stands. Now go, and greet her morning face with a warn wet kiss. Great poem and thoughts. May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael

wicker everything
to awaken with kisses is just as wonderful as
being awoken by kisses...hey is all in the kiss isn't it?

Oh! This is gorgeous, Fee. Sounds like an idyllic way to awaken...the imagery you painted with the little cabin, wood stove, breakers....completely dreamy!!! Loved this!
