Inspired by Christine Alwin's posting yesterday entitled "Unwritten". I know this pales in comparison to your poem Chrissie but I hope you don't mind...

Unwritten Reply

reading the unwritten words of her poem

of love that she so willingly gave

Of thoughts kept safe in her heart

of each kiss and memory she’d save

she was truly his reason for living

her love was each breath that he took

Knew his words could never do justice

what he felt with just one of her looks

silver teardrops flowed from his eyes

Her unwritten words he could understand

his sailor’s heart was love overflowing

for the girl who didn't write in the sand…

Makes my heart leap into my mouth, Felix, this is such a spontaneous and free-flowing response. The last two lines say it all with such on-point, heart-stopping succinctness. As always, totally melting romance. Bless you, xx

Fee, Thanks for your words, to my unwritten ones..lol Your poem is telling of love and is so sincere~ note: Amber, Fee and I have collaborated together, it has been fun, though they are not (at least for me) easy to do, though in the end I think they have turned out just right
Hugs,
Chrissie

Fee, I feel the sentiments that you share in the poem, a beautiful compliment to Christine's poem..You should writer together as collaborators..Your words flow together as if one poet has penned them.

Much peace, love and light,
