The sea a sighing an orchestra of times gone by
Sun fading out leaving just an aching urge to cry
Once a cherished dream, hope of all that life could be
Love divided, conquered, no more secret shared sunrise
He cries, she cries, even the man in the moon cries
Sometimes in lonely solitude, alone they await the moon
Her heart, his heart, yesterday’s sweet memories return
…they both know that smouldering fire will forever burn…
