I can relate very closely to what you express through your verses, Fee. I cannot be with the one I love now and have felt what you express for a long time. I (she and I) are resolved to be patient and to wait for as long as it may take, even into the next life. This brought tears to my eyes�so, so sad�

The repetition lends itself to song. While the meaning comes through when so many of us have felt this same way, waiting day after day for something that never comes.
