~ You Are ~ You are a full moon lighting up a midnight sky or the colors of a rainbow in a blazing arch flying high You are an explosion of carnations in a dark space or the unexpected scent of sea mist miles away from an ocean place you are a black pearl a rare wine a smooth stone a piece of amber you are a rare coin a perfect sunset a shooting star a treasured trinket You are a love letter that is tattered and torn you are the scent of jasmine perfuming the air after a summer storm You are nutmeg and rare spices an ancient bottle of exotic oils arriving on sailing ships from West Indies to our soil You are a flower pressed between pages a crystal reflecting rainbows a golden goblet from a pirate�s chest You are an old soul from a place centuries old You have traveled from somewhere in time all of this way, so I could love you and I do �2005 Carole Mathys
