Having more or less recovered most of my lost work from last weeks virus attack. I'm now trying to sort it all out...during this process, I've come across some old works that could do with re-working. This is one such work, originally entitled 'I dream of you' it was a brief foray into erotica, re-worked and re-titled.
Dream in Erotica Minor
In stygian darkness I dream of you…
Mistress Medusa, before you I stand enchanted.
Your ocular discourse holds without the threat
of stone, that pristine face and smiling grace melts
my cool veneer.
Lips prose perfect, alliterate an aura
of alluring assonance
Powerless to resist I genuflect, obedient
libertine to your lexicon.
Elegant hands, tenderly draw my head near,
a tantric touch that excites
as sensual aromasblend in sacred night.
A voice from Mons Veneris calls to me,
'come kiss me heartily make my juices flow a taste of honey I will let you know.'
Such proffered bliss to take
from the flower of heaven
is hard to resist.
Gently, my lips caress your button amour
and like an angelic bee I lap your sweet nectar.
You writhe and sigh
as I reap your corn with wriggling scythe
but as the Earth is about to quake
From the dream I awake,
departing your passionate embrace and from above I watch your face. A vision that makes me weep, for you are more beautiful when you sleep.

Blimey... nothin half-baked about this erotica, fellow Twitcher... nothin Oddy neither... (sorry, English joke, people...!!) Totally love the quasi-classicism of it, the veeeeeeeeery literary feel which kinda makes it kinda sexy-geeky-glasses (if you get my drift...) and also "float me downstream in your Oxford punt, past those dreaming spires" and all that... or is it just past my bedtime?! I guess being beautiful when you sleep must make one almost crave to be narcoleptic... Very Paul and very good. Viruses ain't all bad, then... Think I'll be back with me glasses later...
