Exo-Genisis
‘Juju’ whispered the shaman.
Drums resonated
a skin taught rhythm of Eden, fire
incantations and utterances of souls
in intent foot stomp.
Abhoa, tribal shape shifter
danced a lapsing Leopard frenzy
into catatonic schizophrenia.
His Ostrich feather cosmos smudging the smoke
of the chosen
awaiting the blessings of the spirits they invoke.
The sun fell, and the world was sleeping
when the air spirits came. Their hair like straw
malevolent mendacious eyes.
They took the chosen in shinning fleet,
and with licentious tongues
they corrupted the language of innocents.
The alien among us had left us babbling
in the tower of Babel.

The Airs you have poisoned
By your cars, your smoke,
your factories,
And again the Spiral's turning
Poison Air and poison Water
Trees start dying in the forest
Poison Air, poison your
children
Poison your
species.
I can feel the drumbeat and leopard-spirit stored in the forest of trees, Paul.

Another of your exceptional writes, filled with strange and obscure visions, one can almost see the tribal shape shifter dancing and stomping around a fire, and hear the sound of resonating drums... superb imagery Paul.
Warmest hugs and love my dear friend.

A true example of poetic excellence abounds in "Exo-Genesis", and flows through its imgery of symbolical and real depicting of a surreal hypnotic transe of intersouls communication.
I have enjoyed the reading of "Exo-Genesis".
I salute You, Poet!
Long healthy creative life.
