A sharing of my thoughts on Easter Sunday

I wanted to write a poem about today, but none would come to mind.
I decided to write about some things that have been going through my mind most of the night.

Today is one of the most special days of the year, for our Savior, Jesus Christ arose from the grave.

Most of us have heard and read the Bible story, but how often do we think about what he did and how it affected those who have lived on from generation to generation.

Where would we be and what would we believe in? By giving the supreme sacrifice, he gave us something tangible to hang onto.

Many of us live busy lives filled with important things, family ,work, pending schedules, and just trying to get through each day.

How often do we take time to look at the little meaningful things in life, such as a sunrise, the clouds in a clear blue sky, the color of a flower, a smlie? Many things are taken for granted and become common place to us.

I urge all of you on this Easter Sunday, to let a friend or loved one, know you care. Do something nice for a someone special,or a neighbor . Look at whats around you and find something wonderful about it. Most of all, say a prayer of thanks for ALL that we are and have, for with out Him , what would life be? None of us know what tomorow is going to bring, so live each day to its fullest and savor life!
