We are all mere mortals , caught in the seasons of life.

Poem Artwork

In the springtime of our love,
we were young and vibrant.
The world was ours to conquer
Our passion new no limits as
star kissed nights blended together

As summer approached, we became
more aware of the intracies of marriage.
We shared the birth of our children,
special times of happiness and obstacles
that occured
Our love deepened as years flew by,
the bond of togetherness grew stronger

We now have reached the autumn of
our lives. Our hair is streaked
with silver. Our step is not as quick.
We enjoy our grandchildren,and happy
family times.Countless hours
are spent together and we revel
in the companionship we've formed.

Time is going by quickly as we
approach winters days. We face
our new tomorrows bravely,
not knowing what's
ahead. Each day is treasured as
hours of precious time go by.

We've been blessed beyond measure
with a love strong and true . Our
Lord has walked with us, guiding
all the way.

We're going forward
as life's light begins to dim,
Slowly walking toward the sunset,
still husband, wife and friend

First of all, beautiful photo. Very eye pleasing. I am looking forward to that beautiful day when I can go to glory with my savior and hubby and mom and dad and grandpa and others. We shall all be known as we are. It will be a very grand time, and with the advance of old age, time is getting nearer for me. Not afraid, what is there to be afraid of.

MaryGrace your words are beautiful as too many take life for granted. I have always taught our children to live today as though there is no tomorrow and in the end there are no regrets. Thank you for your words.

Beautiful MaryGrace. One suggestion if I may. Don't look at it "as life's light begins to dim, Slowly walking toward the sunset." Yes, this life's light may be beginning to dim but a new day is dawning with the brightest Light that we have been blessed with witnessing. I look forward with happiness to that day. Very well done my friend and God bless.
