Ideas lost in time...

Poem Artwork

Partial, incomplete, I see the

ragged, tattered edges.

The ink has faded a bit, paper

torn, brilliance shelved.

 

Scattered scraps, flashes

to insight now lost.

Patterns near, stillborn.

Comatose, then breathes

no more. Segregated.

 

The threads are there. If

only I can twine them so,

skein them into something

obvious, yet never seen.

Ah the life of a poet, an author and a scribbler. How true. The beginnings of something; a potential plot resolver; ah but yes, as muddled as my mind too as these thoughts fight to be released. Your poem opened up my mind to clutter.
