Buried treasure beckons
From the roof of the world
So I won't take their advice
I've got a ship and a map that says
"There is SOMETHING IN THE ICE"

They say it can't be done
They say no one can survive

I bet a million to one
That I'll make it back alive

Forcing our dogleds
Through a maze of ice and snow
My crew are hearing voices
But it's just the wind, I know
Dreams of death or glory
Have caught us in Their spell
Somewhere a buried paradise
Lies in this arctic hell

To the crystal walls we're led

Count the days on nerveless fingers
That've turned black from the frost
Now the compasses are useless
