He brought me out
There is no doubt!
From the very sin
That tried to eat me up within
It tried to deceive me
To make me think
That alcohol and cocaine
Was the only was I could maintain
But one day I fell on my knees and prayed
"Oh God" if you deliver me
I will go back to the world and let them see
The kind of man you intended me to be
A Godly man who took a stand!
To let the world know
That through you deliverance will flow
Oh yes "I'm free" for he has made me the man that I Should be!
For whom the son sets free is free indeed
So you see he brought me out
That's why I have no doubt
That he can also bring you out!
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
BRAVO!!! You have beaten the white devil! This is a very courageous
writing and God be with you always! Stay strong.
