POPE JOHN PAUL I I , THE GREAT,WAS A MAN OF TRUTH AND NOT LIE. 
A PRIEST LIKE MELCHIZEDECK OF OLD, IN OUR TIME
WILL HIS SUCCESSOR FOLLOW IN HIS LINE
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS WAS HE
A CHRIST LIKE MAN HE COULD BE
WHO COULD COMPARE TO JESUS
YET, IN SOME WAYS HE DOES
HIS LOVE FOR HIS FLOCK UNBELIEVABLE
TO GUIDE US IN LIFE AND IN DEATH
TO BE THE BEST WE COULD BE
FOR THE GOD WHO CARRIED US ALL
WE CHOOSE HEAVEN OR WE CHOOSE HELL
TO CHOOSE HEAVEN, WE WILL DO WELL
LET US REMEMBER OUR BROTHER
WHO WILL LIVE ON IN INFINITY
JUST AS LIFE IS ETERNAL
HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOREVER
WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN TO BE  SURE
IF WE WALK THE PATH  SET OUT FOR US
IT IS BUT A SIMPLE THING  TO  DO
BE NOT AFRAID TO LIVE A LIFE OF TRUTH AND NOT LIE 

I have written this poem about Pope John Paul 11, The Great. He was an artist, an actor, a poet, a man of prayer, a contemplative and a member of the Order Of Carmel.   He had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother to All
Also, he was a man of intergrity, beliving all life is sacred from conception to natural death. He was Christ-Like in all he did and said.
He stood firm in his beliefs in church teachings.
He was a lover of peace and unity for all faiths.
He loved all humanity
Just as he did, I believe  in God, the Holy Catholic Church and all that it teaches
and in life everlasting
