I wrote this early morn April l7th as the thought came to me, to beautiful to procrastanate and lose it

The Garden Within Within my heart there's a garden And I weed it and keep it clean Oh I do elect to never neglect My garden within my heart For you see my Lord lives there Deep within my heart He know my every thought He knows what I ought to be And He gives me courage to carry the cross So I carry it every day And I do not regret The adictions I give up For it is worth the sacrafice Because I know at the end A crown of roses I will win 'lil flower

Beautiful poem. I have two thoughts. Roses have thorns. Jesus wore a crown of thorns. The second is simply this. What is living in your heart is a seed. You are cultivating it and God will make it grow.
