Nothing says "pain" more clear that when hope abandons us and in despondency we wait but don't reach out, we just go on waiting...alone.

Those no reaching out,
wouldn't grab happiness going by
and live in sadness.

Sad but true, if we do not reach out, it would be a lonesome life, often times we find joy and happines by reaching out to others...great write expressed well!

Some do not reach out because they have imprisoned themselves within their own unhappiness... and the door is thus closed both ways - they do not come out... and nobody can go in. This is a poem with a huge impact, my valued friend. Thank you for sharing this reflection... and for all your kindness.

Haunting, haunting...and when help finally arrives, it is often too late. Well done, Georg, this will stay with me a while.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

tragic indeed; and so whisper soft that it almost begs the subject to hold on. .. it reminds me of all the ones i pass on the way to work; maybe WE are the ones who should reach out when they cannot? haunting.

Very sad, Georg. And when some finally do reach out, far too often, there is no one there to catch them.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
