Are we became a bunch of naive idiots that we went for it everytime?
From the armed forces a weird soldier
for unsoldierly conduct he was thrown
it wasn’t saluting properly, giving peace
signs to every self-centered superior.
He used to put flowers on his rifle
where a bayonet was supposed to
be ready and sharp to take a life,
in peace time? are them all ga-ga now?
Take a beer with all your buddies until
there is a real threat for getting a real war,
until then you have many choices
Buds, Coors, and that unshakable joint.
Be graceful that they decided that you
to that God’s forsaken country didn’t go,
but give a prayer or two for the unlucky
brothers that are there, what a mighty rot!
The peace banner aren’t for taunting
the soldiers of all the armed forces,
they are there to remind the generals
to not handle war like it was a joke.
They should ask all the old soldiers
about committing soldiers lives before
a feasible withdrawal is in the plans or
the grunts will die for nothing, like now.
Don’t ask me again to be a part defending
the silly game of lies with so many words,
because nobody will believe any of you
any time there is a really menacing wolf.
well I wouldn't want someone to come to my home & tell me how to raise my children with their forms of discepline so to speak. Its absurd for us to be over there when our own people here are in peril from hunger & severe poverties & homelessness & so much more.....

In theory, I agree that soldiers should be given a choice. Yet, if the war was on U S grounds, and they refused to fight - what then? To cry wolf so many times as we know has the adverse effect of providing credibility. But when do you know if it's real or "wolf"? Restrospectively, I think and by then ...

One international law we need is for the right of the soldier to say no,I will not participate, and the acceptance of that by the people despite the propanda of the state, as an act of patriotism. I know it is a different mind set uncommon in most nation states. Andre said it right, read the five partners, I lived in a once fortified towns frontline a house fifteen hundred years old, right at the moat, all buergers had to stand on the walls to fight the invaters, that would be patriotism in a sense, and there also the coward was despised. But it was only the King and his army and money, that send people out to conquer by coercion, greed, aggression, etc, again the hired hand, the soldier was usually coerced or a paid murderer, this was common thought, and still is today. I would think,if you want to get bin laden, or any of the other scumbags, like... put together a well paid assassination team and smoke him out at much less effort, human misery and cost to all involved. The workable details of such, with a new mind set, I wish there had been one when Hitler came to power, it would have saved the world from all his attrocities, anyway I am writing a book here.... and all I wanted to say, is thanks George!

It is a shame that billions of Dollars are used to bribe and corrupt benighted nations in total violation of the Vienna's Convention, and then send humans to die for the advancement of weapons' sales and profits of the FIVE PARTNERS OF INDUSTRIAL WARS, ~ THE FIVE PERMANENT MEMBERS OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL.
I find covenants and laws that protect the life and rights of dogs, mice, birds and horses, and many of the FAUNA's life. NEVER HEARD OF A LAW OF ANY COUNTRY OF THE FIVE PERMANENT MEMBERS OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL THAT DEPICTS THE RIGHTS OF THE SOLDIERS.

Don't GET me started on this, Georg; my health's at risk if I get too angry!! Not good for my (already high) b/p!! There is no peace, there will be no peace, they don't know the MEANING of peace. We are cast as the villans, the invaders, the murderers, the...terrorists. We are the ones getting charged with war crimes. Why???? Weren't lessons learned from Vietnam? To pull out before the job is done would be ludicrous.
Do agree with one thing though. Since getting rid of Saddam, we should shift our strategy to Afghanistan and find those CREEPS that attacked us, who started this mess, and hang 'em by their balls!!!!!! Or stake 'em to the ground, pour honey on 'em and let the ants have 'em...GRRRRRRRR this was NOT the read to start my morning off on a peaceful note! One can only holler Wolf! just so many times. When people ask questions I believe they deserve answers. Perhaps no one has the answers. I fought in one useless war and 40 years later I still ask myself,"WHY?" Each day new names are added to the death toll ; All by a people who hate us and want us gone. They have so little respect for life that they gladly die to do so. Someone will have to account for this war and when all is said and done we'll be no further ahead than Sept. 11th 2001.
