Every minute someone, somewhere are crushing the heart with those unexpected words, the rainbow shatters and moonless night falls over...

Poem Artwork

Yes that’s what she said to him,
“Sorry, I have fall out of love”
like it was a simple information
about the weather, just a thought,
which came not as a surprise
for a woman that could take it all,
without thinking of consequences,
jus take, use well and then…throw.

Dumfounded face on a hurting man
deeply tabbed with dagger’s shock,
he didn’t wake up that day expecting
to be tossed down by any storm
waiting behind an emotional corner
to ambush his heart and then shove
the broken pieces over abyss’s edge,
unwanted souvenirs of something old.

Even from the most finest tapestries
man can get rags if the pull is strong,
but what can you get tearing apart
the shreds of someone’s soul?
after he escaped death by grabbing
“returning to her” a cherished thought,
to hear the coldest phrase from her,
“Sorry, I have fall out of love…”

Expresses well the pain felt by the one who lost; but it happens and sometimes one or the other grows apart or in another direction -- and it's nobody's fault. R

Darlin, Maybe it was never love at all. People are always fallin in love and out of love, like love is by pure accident, hopefully love is more than that! I LOVE YOU! SC

Very deep and honest thoughts
It's very painful to know that your soul mate
no longer loves you but is better
Than to be unfaithful!
Honesty is always best painful but truthful!
Powerful write!!

The line between love and hate is such a thin one........this is a hard one to digest for me right now!!

Honestly, I don't know if you can "fall out of love." Love is love, there's no two ways about it.

I think that some people were never in love, and then can't handle reality. Hence, they use the term "falling out of love". Another lie. Best stop here before I really get wound up.

God bless you. Kathy

Georg,
I have been there, many of us have, but honesty is the best policy. For all parties involved. You cannot live a lie, if the feelings are not there, then it is best to be honest. It saves everyone in the long run.
Very good thoughts in your poem, and you are very brave to write it.
Peace, Love, and Light,

A great write, one of many emotions...the roller coaster of love! I always try to live by the rule of; when one door closes...another one opens. Sometimes it may take a while before we are ready to turn the knob of the new door! Touching and profound write my friend...

Great Write brother
Of words that hurt those
that you love the most,
but where there's an up,
there is also A Down.
Peace be with you

Words are as hurtful as fists, but the scars, while invisible, linger longer...I know. Still dealing with the aftermath of words condemning me to a life of failure. :( Powerful, Georg.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Love is the emotion that can provide us even more emotions, from joy to sadness the soul feels love in more variety than we at times can and or can't handle. Love can leave a heart crushed and yet love can also heal, you write of falling out of love, an experience many have felt...

nice work, Georg...
