This poem, like a two legget table, needed that missing one by way of a collaboration that was graciously declined.
If it doesn't hold your cup of coffee don't blame the poet, blame the carpenter...
A blind man inside a room
painted all around in black
looking for that little switch
of that non existent light,
fumbling in the shadows
like that Schroedinger’s cat.
A blind man that cannot see
is the one that see don’t want,
no the tears coming from love
nor the face caressing hand,
closed eyes in total rejection
won’t open to a tender demand.
A blind man, you wish to say,
Oh poor in the shadows little man!
but he, the world don’t want to see,
nothing wrong, just he doesn’t want
to open the eyes inside a room
that in reality is full of light.
Sounds like our politicians. There is much to be seen, but why see it when you can turn the light on in a different place, changing life's focus. Whew! This is what happens when I read very late at night. Best go to bed.
A powerful write...there are many whom choose to walk a path of routine rather than travel on new and unfamiliar ground...some choose to deny reality...out of sight out of mind...well done, a deep and profound write!

Sometimes, its better to walk blindly, away from the light...but in essense, that only leads us to darkness.
The reality of it all, is, to open our eyes, so to speak, and see, that which was within us, needing to be sighted!

Sometimes we choose to be blinded to not face reality. This reminds me of when a child covers their eyes thinking that it will go away, for instance when they are being scolded. This is a sad write of pain.
