I got a lying monkey on my back
promise the world for one banana
or a Primary Vote, just like that.
But after the damn election’s gone,
he cover his hears with his hands,
because all of us about his promises
are shouting for an answer, we all ask.
He will cover his eyes, the whole truth
apparently to see, he will never want,
or take a peek even between the fingers
to assure himself he isn’t going blind.
His mouth you will no see talking,
he will have covered also with his hands,
because he haven’t go no more promises
after voting for him, pawned is your life.
You are right on with this one, they make all those promises and then screw the people in the end, as Felix said it is the same here in Canada. Thank you for sharing Georg.
I say we lure them all down, as we peel our yellow skins and coax them into taking a bite of what we can hand them...and we can force them to tie their own hands behind their backs and watch how the fruit can be baked into bread!

NONE of the two governing parties's candidates has an admistration plan. They repeat the same decoy and offer the same LURE. The PLUTOCRATS play asking for votes. They don't need them; the system guarantees their SEAT, and they keep exchanging turns. They serve PLUTOCRACY, OLIGARCHY and the LORDS of WALL Street.
Let the politically blind see the gates to the big SLAVEYARD that they are building in USA.
As long AS we don't understand that we must obey the Constitution of USA ~ demanding the CONGRESS to obey the same. Makes no difference who plays with dogs and gods of Industrial WARS in the OVAL OFFICE. They are servants of the PLUTOCRACY, and will remaiN that way until the people learn the simple words of the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
I have enjoyed the reading of an outstanding political poem, and am glad that there are still people that can see ~and define the difference. "A monkey on my back" rings the bells of social awareness.
