The Light...is that God?

We wander in a pitch black Universe, alone with our fears, disoriented, lost, open eyes seeing nothing, soul crimping, waning spirit...we are the travelers.

Poem Artwork

Nebula hiding the universe with shadows for a
traveler without a home going from star to star,
like a reincarnated King Midas touching places,
places where for a small black-hole you can buy
a two warps supernova or a very small galaxy,
but never a twenty light years across golden sun.

With the pockets full of moons and planet’s rings,
the traveler are weighed down, but he don’t want
to leave all of his beautiful cosmic bijouterie
like one worthless pile of fool’s gold behind,
so he keeps on going for eons in a wild search
of that empty space where you can bend the time.

But, marvel and behold, the empty universe is not
that empty, without hurting eyes there’s a light,
that no shadow ever could escape nor resist
because it is coming endless forever and so bright,
that from the deepest and most secret of places
He said, “I am tired of darkness, let be a light”

The traveler in awe almost with reverent fear
let his soul fell on its knees and say it aloud,
“is that you my Lord? I should wander no more?”
but silence was the answer as the wonder went by
and the traveler ran after “it” tears blurring his eyes
“is that you my Lord?” he felt ignored, left behind.

Suddenly the traveler stopped in obscurity’s center
and was converted in the vortex of the revolving light
closing on him from above, climbing from below,
the traveler was surrounded by every other side,
until all of him melted in and was part of it, hearing
the most beloved whisper, “My son I Am in your heart”

Now he knew what eternity was all about, because,
of billions of universes he was now one little part
going forever and ever to that, the endless pleasure
of be part of an eternal flame that couldn’t go out
because He said, that darkness was pain and solitude
and for that He commanded, “lets have the Light”

And still they fear the darkness, where no shadows cast, no reflections willow, wherin the soul finds rest, bring on the light they say, so that we may forever cast our shadow upon your creation, and not lay shallow in our grave, the ego does not want to die!
A wonderful poem, brought to light, with a visual kaleidoscope!

A full round mathematical cabalistic thirty-six brilliant cut diamond pieces set on six rings of poetic cosmologic light.

I have enjoyed the reading of "The Light" for all its glorious literary contents; ~ philosophic imagery and poetic brilliance.

I salute You, Poet.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
