The Traveler, God & the Promises (end of the journey)

This is the end of The Traveler series for now; written about that imaginary one all we have inside, maybe timid to ask the question or afraid to confront the answer.
A philosophical serie of someone starting a journey of search, undecided to believe and setting aside the truth because the truth can't be so easy to find, does't it?
In the illustration picture The Traveler, in agony, is shouting the last stanza.

Why after crossing over a green horizon suddenly
it ends showing a infinite vastness of golden sands,
has He been playing Traveler with a game of mirrors
just to demonstrate the untruth of was he left behind?
What were Moses thoughts abandoning the oasis with
his people, to the desert from the promises of the Nile?
Just to walk and walk and walk fifteen thousands days
in search, where, when, how, to that Promised Land?
How many horizons crossed on those golden dunes
never quiet reaching “that” horizon, the promised one.

“And I will say unto thou that walks beside solitude,
that if you have friends you will be a much blessed man,
becoming an oasis in a barren world that don’t want him
because he has something to share, an unselfish heart.”
Then, when aimlessly walking in search of something
or wishing to know where to meet that special “someone”
the Traveler should had packed a little more of faith
and a little less of gambler’s wishes, left it to chance,
there is another golden horizon holding the scorpions
which can make you immortal with just one little bite.

Slithering, one snake, the venomous Horned Viper,
temptress that skim across the burning desert’s sands,
no place for her to go roaming for a possible sinner,
if no Eva, there are no an apple tree were in to hide
in a forgotten from the gods most thirsty of all places,
far away to be confused any time with a rich Paradise
where nobody has questions to non existing answers
nor you will expected of Him creating another Adam
from dunes that will never be mud where’s no rain
and perhaps by this time God have much tired hands.

Another horizon, another ridge top from where to shout
“God! Where are thou my Lord? I walked and now stand
with my feet buried into the world of so much rejection
than even the Creation birds over you work wouldn’t fly”
Blistering skin hot wind, the only witness to his voice,
silence haven’t the care of Travelers words to understand
will impervious ignore the need for an echo, the noise?
just the murmur of protest around, from disturbed sands
that long, long ago, where dancing embraced by the wind
around the unbelievers man made shining Golden Calf.

Shouting in the sacred realms worth about forty years
the Traveler thought that now it was not a better time
to stop the search, fall down and let all those little grains
to cover him like snow will do, to sleep for ever inside,
abandon those horizons going forever to many a nowhere
promise of finding among universes multitude the only One
that could face to face tell him being made as His image,
that He was his Father, that because he had no faith, cries
would prevail, and proof will be not provide to him…
“God, where are thou my Lord, was it all a miserable lie?”

Dear Georg,

One line sums it all up: "the Traveler should had packed a little more of faith" This is the key. Without the faith, all travels are meaningless.

"Blessed are the believers".

Let's start from Moses, why he did not enter the Promised Land? He doubted God and assumed he was the one who drew water from the rock, not God. Secondly, the bush burned but did not consume itself, so there was no forest fire. The snake at Eden is figurative of evil and came from the rebellion of the fallen angels whose leader was Lucifer. Does God keep using mud to create man? No. And He is not man to have "tired hands". The travel here of the empty soul naturally will see only despair and lack of hope, never going forward because its sight is always focused on the past, as the second stanza's show. And progressing to the third, still that soul is unable to see the Truth, but hates it instead, as one whose eyes have been so used to the dark, it gets hurt when it encounters Light for the first time, hence - eventually it leads to total blindness "that because he had no faith, cries would prevail, and proof will not provide to him... "God where art thou my Lord, was it all a miserable lie?" The truth is in these self-declarations that the traveler has made up his mind that God is a lie, no proof needed.

Romans I- tells us that "God gave them over to the sinful desires of their hearts." He honors freedom of speech and freedom of choice.
He lets go of those who refuse His truth (evident in creation) and "gives them over to their destruction". The fool says in his heart "there is no God." Let him be.

God's promises are true and not to be taken too literally, but believed in our hearts and letting him come to us and to be saved is the greatest thing a traveler can do for God. End end of the journey is so exciting, sorry your series had to end at this time.

Woow this is a frightening
I'm going to have to go back and read the rest
of the traveler series I think I only read one before this one
And this is fearsome odds of your
ending journey becoming a realism!
Powerful and interesting and frightful thoughts!!
Love It I wil read more A.S.A.P!!
Peace Love and light....Morning star

The possibility of that closing verse being a reality is absolutely frightful...
truth is never far from anyone, it is maybe just hidden for good purposes, and also for selfish purposes, or even by those of deviant purposes...it is easier to speak the truth a million times than to recall any lie once
deep thoughts...wander the readers mind, you words give light to thoughts about life & death & reasons & emotion

Your last line says it all, and it's quite powerful, brother. I think many a Traveler has wondered the same.

Now Georg, I know this is serious stufff, but the horned viper of much laughter must have bitten you on that travel, and you have infected me with so much mirth, I can't possibly take any of this serious at this very moment, I am so ashamed of myself, but I had to write this review, all I can say very quickly, leaving the laughter aside, this is as deep as that desert sand, and as golden, if this be olympic gold, you'd beat Phelps handely, concratulations, love and blessings!
