A make believe Valentine

Apropos Valentine's Day...did you knew that many out there need to imagine their Valentine?
Shy perhaps or maybe just afraid of rejection, or it can be that self-esteem is not as it should be.
Then...why any of them shouldn't imagine their Valentine, giving it all the qualities that they never found or dare to look for?
This poems are for those than on Valentine's Day will look at their mirror and in silence ask, why?

Poem Artwork

She will be my make believe Valentine
from the dawn of February the fourteen,
until the sun goes down in the horizon
the ever promised lovers we two will be.

At our encounter predicted by prophets
her delicate, warmth little hands I will kiss,
and immersed in an ocean, not a shipwreck,
of her unfathomable eyes…I will swim.

Because she will be only a make believe,
couldn’t possible but with love look at me,
and pouting with desire to a chocolate heart
her little rosy tongue will moist her lips.

No one can expect that enormous emotion,
feeling her loving arms, tight, all around me,
as I will be whispering all my secret words
that only her and nobody else, will ever hear.

A bouquet of long stem rode roses in full bloom
and a heart shaped box of chocolates for a lifetime
our lover’s day from dawn to a long red sunset
will be unforgettable, my make believe Valentine.

that is one interesting photo Georg....

but then I am taken into the fantasy of a love speaking from the heart of his soul, and then I am captured inside the poetic words of endearments reaching to hold the passions of love's sensual day...in belief that love will be the valentine for real

Blasted Georg, why can't you deal with real people, them horny little Mooses not enaugh, or is this some kind of Greek Goddess,
bring her the apple of the tree, you know which one, not chocolates,
g how many ribs did it take to make this one, you are a true artist of many kind aren't you. I love your poem though, it's dripping with honey, how could anyone refuse, including this pony.
I wish you love, no don't matter! Jasmin Horst
