Sometimes we are blessed, sometimes an angel decides to touch our soul and we don't know why and it assures us that not everything is bad down here when God have time to touch you with one of His fingers.
I have a friend that I visit in my dreams,
and in those dreams our different ages
doesn’t matter, not between tight friends,
that are on this life book, on the same page.
We are eight decenniums so apart, and yet,
don’t need to shout on our world, onstage
we are the princes in that a fantastic play,
with our mind mysteriously we can engage.
Eli is a little boy, living in is own world,
a world that most of us cannot penetrate,
but that an old man closing is eyes at night
let Eli to come and open his sadness cage.
We never meet, through the mother’s words
he suddenly, like a little angel, he was there,
looking at my sadness gave me a big hug and
whisper in my ear, “all will be good” he said.
Nobody knows how he knows, the truth is,
that we should accept what the Lord gave
as we ask in awe, why me, why any of us can
be, in His eyes, worth of have Eli as a friend.
This poem is exquisite!!! God has indeed given you Eli to love and to pray for. I hope Carol reads this to him. Who knows how much God can reach a little one such as Eli with the love of a friend?
Connie
Georg... you touch so many with your words of wisdom and care...and I too share this same love for Eli that you are speaking of! Through his mothers words we have come to know and love this Angel that touches without even knowing...or...does he? I too lay at nite and wonder about Eli..praying for him, and knowing that when he smiles, when he does reach out...that perhaps it's at the hand of God ... Eli is His vessel...how else would he have touched so many of us...??
Then of course...having his mother as our friend is also a blessing...and for me...I can't explain just how much of a friend she is...Heaven sent! thank you Georg... hugs, lindalaw

Dear Georg..
You have captured Eli with your words, even though you only know him through my words, and the stories I have written of his world. I will treasure in my heart as you have a beautiful and wise spirit. And as you are the elder, closing your eyes at night...I am sure Eli would open his sadness cage and hug you. These words you have written go so beyond anything anyone can say of him...you have truly made me cry..tears of happiness and pride! Happy Birthday my friend...and I thank you so much for this poem. You are his angel and I just keep reading these words you wrote. It is as though you have known him forever and deep in his heart and mind! Love to you, CarolHawks
You have been so blessed to have crossed paths, through God's intervention with this wonderful young man Eli. Enjoy the time and treasure always each precious moment...
A precious ode to a precious friendship, Georg. Thank you for sharing it.
On another note, I found out that today's your birthday:
We all know this fellow named Georg
It seems his name folks like to forge
Today's his birthday
So he must be quite gay (in the happy way)
Even if he does live in Norge (I'm just making that up.)
Georg, I know Carol and Eli will love this heartfelt poem. A heavenly beam of light must have penetrated your soul today and re-emerged through your writing. Your resultant poem illuminates Eli, and showers us all with the resplendant sparks of God's glory.
Georg, you listen to the wind, and the spirits speak to you. You are open and know much wisdom. I admire you. This poem, is spoken of such innate abilities that you possess.

If the rest of mankind were as accepting of all the Elis of our world, those that are not considered perfect ... it would be such a better place. This is a beautiful, moving, loving tribute to Carol's Eli - well done, Sir.
This is such a powerful piece Georg for it captures so well the power of love we are able to find in our hearts and offer out to those who love us unconditionally. There are miracles in this world and Angels and this poem combines both.
Eli is a charmer, and so is his dear mother, Carol~ God bless them both; my life is indeed better because of them! (And you! :) ) Very well penned tribute to a special young man; bravo! Carol will LOVE this; I know I do!
