Love, Listen to the Falling Rain

Have you in your life hold a wet bird between your hands, or an helpless kitten or a little puppy sleeping on your arms?
That's the way a loving man should hold the woman he loves, always...

Poem Artwork

José Feliciano was telling on that song above
“listen to the falling rain, listen to it fall, and
with every drop of rain I can hear your call…”

The fingers or the pouring rain were
tap dancing on the fogged glass
of your window, like all our tears
were put together for one very last time,
before they were converted in wet smiles.
Listen my love,
listen to the falling rain…

Thunders, shaking shadows in my world,
piercing lightning, like slashing knives,
we left back that, the mightiest storm
that twisted the core of our lives
until it was nothing left inside our hearts.
Listen my love,
listen to the falling rain…

Tomorrow when the storms are gone
rainbows will be left to cover the past,
as kisses rosebuds will appear in the garden
that a merciless rain blessed had,
on the soul of two secret lovers apart.
Listen my love,
listen to the falling rain…

Like a little wet sparrow suddenly you,
are trembling of cold between my hands,
as the drops of fate rain are pouring
trying to drown our wish to keep alive
our love, that destiny stabbed and will not die.
Listen my love,
listen to the falling rain…

Georg, how beautiful! How positively beautiful. Words crafted as though from within the heart of a valentine. Beautiful, sad, thundering with emotion. This one I feel, my friend, this one I truly feel.

Your poem is a cleansing of the soul, like the arms of a mother; or the embrace of the woman who holds her man after all of his struggles are done.

Georg my friend the last thing I wanted to hear was more falling rain, it hasn't stopped here all sommer, it'll probably rain all winter too, and that little sparrow will get never away from the cold misery, or whatever you're holding, but just the same, what lovely thoughts you're thinking, like a ray of sunshine......
