Everybody are going gaga with Autumn, forgetting that it killed my little Summer, that warm gossamer cloud that wrapped our body with happiness.
Now...we just shiver and get goosebumps...
Oh Summer! My little dear Summer!
how much love I have had for thee…
we were made tender for each other,
passionate
naked lovers kissing on the beach.
Then, all of a sudden it was to come
Autumn, dressed colorful Harlequin
with so many zililons hues of lies,
camouflage
of a cold heated season ready to kill.
But wait, vengeance will be all mine,
Winter, grandfather of Summer’s trills
one day, soon, with is icy old wrath,
bury
killer Autumn under its snow it will.
Oh Summer! My little beloved Summer!
to hold you alive a little longer I wished
to feel your warmth on my cold skin
and on my heart,
as when you with the sun gave me kisses.
Dear Georg, How much I need the summer, not when is to hot. But without the summer. I feel left alone and forgoten. His warmth make yonger again.
Love Emile
I adore summer...and she was not here for very long at all
my Jalapeno's were not hot because she was snuffed out
hopefully Mr. Winter will not suppress Miss Spring time kissing our senses...and not soon enough

Love the personification in this, Georg. So passionate and so unique. I simply can't get my head round these dark nights, now, and though I love the Harlequin season now here, I am totally the hand-maid of Titania and those Long Summer Nights... and Days! Pass the tissues.... xxxx :)) Great voicing to this poem, too.
Georg, You know that the summer is my favorite season, with the ocean and the sunshine and the lovely summer nights under the full moon...Yes Oh Summer, beloved little Summer, captures my heart for sure!
Peace, love, and sunshine,

She might have been shivering, but you, nice name for a girl though, run me by another one, by the way I could use a little heat just now, is that castle heated up? Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Beautiful stuff mein Herr. True poetry through and through. Very nice.
Georg, I prefer fall and winter. Too stormy in the spring (though lately we've had round after round of stoms in the fall!), and too hot in the summer; I can't take the heat anymore. Great write; well done!

Beautiful, Georg, but after winter, comes the spring ... if you want summer, Texas has plenty. Severe storms expected tonight/tomorrow morning, including the possibility of tornadoes. Yuck. (Tornadoes, not your poem. LOL)
Old Man Winter is already creeping around my place. And he's already killed off several of my remaining Autumn flowers. I expect to find his tell tale tracks in the snow, any day now.
i love summer as well cause in the winter i freeze in this camper, in fact rene and i are looking into apts for rent, at least for the winter...i hate being cold anymore, must be the diabetes, i kinda wish sometimes that rene followed my wishes and & pulled the plug...ed

With Love,
Cindy
Deeply, lest she perish
Beneath Winter's implacable
Cold.
And with the spring she
Will arise
To warm thee
Once more.
