Many, unconsciously, let their feet to take them to other strange realms, where reason doesn't apply and ecstasy is a goal, like running from destiny to reach Nirvana.

Feet, walk, walk the distance,
never mind you the time,
because it can’t walk with you,
as time will only flies.

There's an old spirtual song that repeats the line "Feet Keep On Walking" you've captured that feeling well.

Time only flies! Yeah, sure, Georg that's why I should be fifty instead of seventy-five and tomorrow is the 4th of July and the day after Christmas and, guess what, the day after Christmas is th 4th again. Time flies, huh? Yeah, you bet!

I live in a strange realm. Was just hearing the words regarding '...not able to run away from your destiny young man, it will find you again
This poem's title caught my attention naturally. Swell words, full of meaning my friend. Keep reaching to the higher truths.

I think we must walk with our feet on the ground and head in the clouds, so to speak. In this way, we are functioning on two plains-the material and spiritual- and in this way remain in balance with our true selves.

We all have our paths to walk ...
Hopefully we make the correct decisions
that keep our feet on the path God intended.

Ecstasy is so short lived
and very self serving...
Time...besides smelling them roses
embrace the beauty of the entire garden

Short but with such a stunning impact of truth. The brevity only tends to add depth and weight to the message you are delivering. Powerful indeed my friend for we all too easy see our time fly by.

Running away from yourself does not take anywhere far away from yourself. You better come to terms with what you have and leave in peace with yourself though the ambition to have more than what we have is a greed we often fail to scratch off. Great work my friend.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
