Yes...God does work in mysterious ways, and we should never forget to respect our loving Father, or else...

Man in all his arrogance tried to held, not to be punished, both hands of God, and could not understand the slap from a Divine Third Hand, that he never saw.

A verse in Proverbs says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom." God usually has to resort to using a 2x4 stick of lumber to smack me on the head with so as to get my attention, sometimes. I like you poem. Hugs J

Georg, excellent advice... reminds me of an old testament story about arrogance of man, and God's will. Read Micah 6:8... quite fitting for today's environment.

Love it, I like the idea of God being more like a guiding parent, capable of love but also giving a subtle swat now and then just to remind us of who is in charge and looking out for our welfare.
