PERFIDIOUS
THE LORD has been through our valleys
THE LORD has already thrashed, and
THE LORD has already seaparated
The wheat from the chaff.
THE LORD has patiently warned them,
Decade after decade, time and again
But the Children, still, are not listening
They want only to play;
To have things Their Way...
And now, it's too late.
THE LORD has even sent His Last-Days prophets
And just like His prophets in the past,
These prophets were slain at the altars, too
But These were slain
With murderous comments...
"PERFIDIOUS," whispered my LORD, "PERFIDIOUS."
