Crisp Saturday Joy

I awoke this morning feeling rested and full of joy.

I know this will be a Saturday to enjoy.

The air is crisp and the sky is a pale blue.

There is not a cloud in the sky, not even a few.

I know they will come back but today I simply admire the day.

The soft cool breeze cause the trees to sway

This way and that way as they keep up with the wind

They are shedding their leaves which drop and flow wherever the breeze may send.

I see my Masters work everywhere I look and I thank God for his love for my faith cannot be shook.

I will praise him and serve him as best I can serve.

It will swim in the pool of his love, a love I do not deserve.

But who am I to walk away from what he offers to me.

If he did not want me to have it I would never see

The wonder of all that he has created for us all

And the joy of all blessings both large and small

I will admire the blue sky and feel the cool breeze caress my cheek

I will thank him for without his love I know I am weak.

Enjoy the sun while it shines and cool autumn air.

And know that God’s love will overcome every care.

Praise God who sends us the wind and the rain.

Who know all our troubles and feels all our pain.

Let God be our total source of strength.
