I was reading from Corinthians as the Apostle Paul wrote of boasting. It was not himself he was boasting about but God’s wondrous love. He also spoke of meekness and great humility. All these can find a place in the hearts of those who love the Lord.

“To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me. 2 Cor. 12

Is it a sin for me to lower myself in order to rise up a brother?
Is it not an act of love from God that makes me do no other?

I am not boasting when I speak of faith which overcomes my very weakness.
For if I boast I boast of Gods’ great power and pray to him in meekness.

Because I love my Lord so much I cannot help but boast.
It is not of me that I proclaim these wonders but to the Lord of hosts.

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.
He lived and loved and healed and than bore our sins before his Earthly job was done.

Although he accomplished all he came to Earth to do he did not stop at this.
He has sent the Holy Spirit to lift us up with a glorious kiss.

The spirit drives me to boast of his amazing love and power.
Though I, myself feel weak and frail he guides me through each hour.

He guides me by the Spirit toward Heavens Holy Shore.
From there, I will know the cares of this life no more.

I will see him face to face and I will embrace him with great passion.
I will praise him for eternity for his great love, wisdom and compassion.
