Striving

I believe it was the Apostle Paul who said, “Be ye perfect, even as your Heavenly Father is perfect.” However Jesus said, “None is perfect except the Father.” That should not mean we do not strive for perfection. Work for it here and we shall see it in Heaven.

Poem Artwork

All my life I have strived for perfection.

I have searched through my life to find the direction.

What I found is that perfection is not of the world in which we live.

It seems; no matter how we try we have not enough to give.

One day I asked the Master for some guidance.

“Teach me the steps,” I asked; So that I may dance.

Dance to the wonderful song of Angels that sing.

I want to hear the heavenly bells as they ring.

His answer came but not what I had expected at all.

He said, “Perfection is not a part of this world for if you try to fly you surely will fall.

Let this not stop you from striving for perfection though here on this Earth.

For the exercise of trying has its own reward and its own worth.

When I call you above to sup with the Angels above

You will surely know the meaning of never ending love.

A most meaningful, annointed write my friend....for we don't live in a perfect world and we are only human and we will make mistakes...but the key is to recognize our mistakes and strive to make the same ones again...praying much, keeping our hearts pure and humble...we will make it one step at a time, one day at a time, and one prayer at a time...well done my friend, inspiring!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
