Titus 2:2
Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

Poem Artwork

A young man’s passions can sometimes lead him astray
He may make decisions he will learn to regret on another day
As he grows older he will hopefully become more temperate and mature
Better able to adjust and endure the disappointments life has in store
This man is one who deserves respect and admiration
For he has mastered the art of love, forgiveness and devotion
This is a man who has lived and experienced life
Who delights in its joys and tolerates times of strife
This man maintains a pleasant demeanor whatever life may bring
When skies seem darkest he still finds songs to sing
He sings of love, assurance and true devotion
The greatest God given talent and most fulfilling emotion
The choice is his as to how he will face the coming days
He draws his patience from the word of God and lives by what it says

So very true. We do not know how our children will turn out until they reach maturety. I have lived to see this truth. I look at the fruit of my labor and say well done. I hope our Savior will say , 'Well done good and faithful servant, now enter in and claim your reward' Amen

great piece Lew, signed sealed and delivered, platinum gold silvered.
I tried to tell my young nephews exactly your first two lines. Of course they did not want to listen, one of them did come around though later after going to jail and almost ruining his life. This is his site, www.dantefeenix.com

Wisdom comes with age if one learns from their mistakes. Youth have a lot to learn from the aged wise.

Peace,
Dayvid

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
