Once a year, this time of year we annually celebrate Thanksgiving
However thankfulness, true thankfulness should be for every day we’re living
We mortals have a habit of celebrating annual holidays
There is ‘Mother’s day’ and ‘Father’s day’ and of course there's ‘Valentine’s day’
We spend much of our lives waiting and looking forward to these days
We Celebrate Christmas each December but we should celebrate it always
We celebrate ‘Good Friday’ and Easter Sunday but why not celebrate today?
I still remember the day I accepted Jesus into my heart and I celebrate that day
I celebrated it then and I renew my celebration each and every day that way
Each morning when I awake my first thought is a prayer in which I say
“Dear Jesus, thank you for today and for each and every day
Please impart to me your holy word and give me strength that I may obey"
