I guess it's time to fess up to all of those that I've dissed in my haste to get through all of the new books, stories, articles and poems with comments every day. "Love means you don't ever have to say, 'I'm sorry.'" (Erich Segal--Love Story)

Apologies

My apologies to all,

for writing so rash,

for talking trash,

thrashing your opinions,

as though they were a rash.

For flying off the handle,

without any facts.

For being so impulsive,

following your tracks.

I'm not a troll or stalker,

but with my Dragon for Mac,

now a speedy Internet talker.

If you think I'm following you too close,

don't be worried or morose,

I'm following everyone that way.

For only a couple of hours each day.

And if you think I'm revealing,

too much of myself unheeding,

don't fret about it because,

I don't worry about those,

who troll with great stealth.

So let's all have fun,

and enjoy the run.

For the future mistakes I will make,

I apologize now in their wake.

So you will see me around,

until this light of mine runs down.

Energizer Bunny I am not,

but I'm recalling this shit,

now freely before I rot.

Or become ashes,

blown in the wind.

If I had to choose between a superficial person who honey sugar coats it or one who tells it like it is, I'd pick the 2nd choice. I love honesty. In this world of deceit we need to stay real. I know you mean well. Thank you for being the poet that you are, have a great day dear Ron.xo

LOL!!!!! :D So admit it! You're the pain in everyone's butt!!!

Yeah, I think I'm that way too. Sometimes my honesty becomes a pain when others can't handle the truth. I hate to speak with caution.

I loved the movie, Love Story, but even in love, one should say you're sorry. It's a good way to cleanse the soul.

Ron, no apologies necessary, I always enjoy your critiques, they tend to advise me and that is something I think we all need at time, well, at the very least I need them and hope they will keep coming...-e-

Ditto what Joyce said. Actually no apologies needed. Critical comments have their place and you certainly to have a critical eye. Anyway, a charming and thoughtful poem, greatly appreciated.

Sometimes one's gut response is the most honest opinion of all, and the most harsh. But just because it might be a broadside to the ego doesn't mean that it's without merit. We can all learn from one another, we just have to know what we can use and what we can let pass. I, for one, appreciate your feedback...most of the time!

There is no time like the present to tell people you care about two things— Sorry and Love you.
No matter what else we regret saying — these two make us freer and more complete by the end.
Have a wonderful weekend, Ron.

I have also written a few Poems,
Not to Atone for Offenses; but,
Just to be Poetic and Rhyming with Words,
As if it somehow made me more Important,
Smarter, or just more Lovable ― who would Know?

I Concluded, after a couple hundred of those Poems,
That it was only Playing with Words,
When Translated into other Languages
Would not be Poetic in Nature, at all; but,
Would in Fact appear to be rather Stupid.

For Example, the Psalms of King David
Are supposed to be Hebrew Poetry; but,
When they are Translated into English,
Or into any other Language, they do not Rhyme
With Reason nor Logic, unless they are Rewritten.

So, I Rewrote all of them ― not for the Purpose of
Transforming them into some Worthless Poetry:
beCause I Realized that making Words Rhyme is
Something that only Teases the Mind, or Tickles the
Ears; but, adds nothing Good to the Thots, nor to the Brains.

Should I Waste any more Time on the
Construction of Poems, for the Sake of being
Poetic, like Robert Frost or Ronald Hull?
Well, it would be like Walking through a Maul
With my Head down around my Feet, Hoping to Meet ―

Well, Hoping to Meet someone who can Relate
With me ― someone who Likes Poetry, just for
The Rhythm and Rhyme of it, whereby they
Might be Stimulated to Think, or Write their own
Poetry for some other Fool to read without a Capital R.

Five Lines in Seven Stanzas is even supposed to be
Poetic in some Way; but, I Fail to Understand HOW,
Nor why anyone would Bother themselves with it.
Personally, I Think that it is all Foolishness, like the
Empty words of American Mole Aryan Nation.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I'VE ALWAYS APPRECIATED ABOUT YOU, RONALD...IS YOUR HONESTY. ONE NEVER HAS TO SECOND GUESS YOU, YOUR OPINIONS ARE CLEAR ENOUGH FOR ONE TO DECIPHER WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM ENTIRELY. I LIKE THAT WHAT YOU SAY, YOU MEAN. AND THOUGH I DON'T AGREE WITH SOME OF IT(SMILE)...I AM GLAD THAT I CAN TELL YOU SO, WITH NO HARD FEELINGS BETWEEN US. WE ALL COME FROM DIFFERENT 'PLACES' AND WE'RE ALL VERY DIFFERENT, BUT THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF 'THE DEN'...THE BEAUTY OF 'US'. SO, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THERE IS NO APOLOGIES NEEDED. I'M BREATHING 'FRESH AIR' RIGHT NOW AND YOU'RE A PART OF IT AND I'M GRATEFUL FOR THIS. I THANK GOD FOR YOU, MY FRIEND, THANKS FOR THIS SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

He, Ron... Yeah, I will admit that sometimes you can become a pain in the ass and your opinions, though honest to you, might rankle some, or possibly all of us. But at least in most cases we... Okay, speaking only for myself, you opinion has at times caused me to re-think certain things before I commit, so to speak, to paper and post. Actually, at times I am tickled to know that my writing sometimes brings forth past memories to you. Hell, Ron! Yeah, at times you are a pain in the ass... But what the hell, I always (almost) like hearing from you.
