COMPASSION There are so many beautiful ways, To express the way we feel, A touch of a hand can somtimes, Help a body to heal. A hug can work like magic, When someone starts to cry, A single word of kindness, Can help when someone dies. A smile can bring the sunshine, When someone is feeling low, A helping hand always works, Even to those that we don't know. A kiss can bring out emotion, With passion that's hard to compare, A laugh can make us feel giddy, It hides the sorrow we bare. A telephone call to someone, We haven't heard from in awhile, Can make a world of difference, It can even reconcile. To write a letter to someone, Seems to me to be ideal, It can make their day much brighter, Just by asking them how they feel.
