~ WHAT IS A SISTER ~

a sister is a special friend,

you tell your secrets to,

with love and understanding,

she'll always be there for you.

a sister is a mentor,

always giving of herself,

taking her own feelings,

and hiding them on the shelf.

a sister is an angel,

sent down from up above,

a very special person,

filled with heavenly love.

a sister always listens,

no need for her to complain,

a person with a heart of gold,

who hurts when you're in pain.

a sister is a treasure,

like a diamond she'll always shine,

a sister is forever,

and I am glad that sister is mine.
