1952-1994
Sadly missed by his family
Don't hate me for the way I am,
I'm still the same as you,
don't judge me for the way I think,
to myself I must be true .
don't blame me for my feelings,
or the way I comb my hair,
just try to understand me,
and show me that you care,
I know my style is different,
but your style is different too,
don't criticize my gender,
or make fun of what I do.
we are all in this together,
whether it be right or wrong,
don't take the blame dear mother,
for I've been this way to long.
just let me live the way I choose,
don't turn your back on me,
just remember that I love you,
and now I'm out and free.

Henceforth, the world should know how much the victims are
L-O-V-E-D!!! and M-I-S-S-E-D!!! by their family members.

Your brother Steven is now in a better place, rid of the sorrows and the pain. Be happy for him now.
The poem is an expression and pain and sorrows that cries for understanding. Aids is much like any other unbeatable disease, i.e. cancer for instance. It does not matter how the disease was transmitted, it is still a disease and should be treated as such without any prejudice of the person's gender or lifestyle. Many straight people get the aids too.
