From the other view of "My Last Write to Men"
IMHO~ Women, somewhere along the line have convinced men to turn into women, not in all respects, have you...and women are turning into men.
Now, claim your role, homeward soul, bring this back in prospective. Otherwise we will never know were any of us stand!
Does anyone see this?..

Poem Artwork

You can only know me
by what I say
For only I am perceiving here...
Then Asking...
without inducing,
I Ask...
What am I worth to you?

Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I see your fashions of pride
All sculpturing nails, and hands with a mouth
Turning your faces aside
Truly now,
is this where your real beauty hides?

Can you find the sidewalk that leads back?
For its only called home if your there
Let me know, so justly soul,
why I even call for you here!

Do you still need me,
Like I need you?
Lead my persuasive self, dear
But save me from all your persuasions
And soften the crosses I bear!

Comfort my sorrows and yens
O’ apostle of apostles,
so gentle and meek,
Can you see Mary,
who opened His tomb again?

Devotedly suffering, I saw you once,
amid my mustering heart
Lean on me again with love unfeigned
and lead all my doubting apart!

Elaborate in reason, for us
mine my maze, if you will
Help me face my enemies,
knowing your home preparing for me
smoothing these plights of the He

As the tendrils of the honeysuckle
entwine the mighty oaks,
you too kept me strong
with songs of affectionate tongue

So Sing again!
Sit beside me, subserving
Strive, O’ my ambitious one!
Your hidden treasures awaiting
I cling to nothing, when your gone

Fit our children, as women and men
and train us all to perform
A moral oasis is falling
from a place we once called home!

Keep prayer within me, I cry
and teach this child His why
The wayward passions of our youth today
need your keeping and watchful eye!

Stop the heartless with your syrup
Your sweetenings of sympathy and love!
Change the flavor of our cups
For all will fall without it
on this hard and suffering earth

And make this world
beat in your heart once more
I depend on your influence here
In a country once, so tis’ of Thee
It was stronger than all innocent death!
Pleasing You, Oh rise up!
And, with Him,
Cast your light on this darkening breath!

For I am Man
Make sense of my confusion
This is my last write to women...
Maybe with His help,
If your worthy enough,
You can help me put this world
back together again!

and everyone will be whole once more!

Thank you for this. I am proud to know there are people like you still alive and breathing. America. We have become our own worst enemy.

Our modern world seems to strive for homogenous sameness in almost everything, and I, for one, miss The Good Old Days.

With all these signs of moral confusion and social decay around us, no wonder Luke tells us that when we see these signs, to look up for our redemption draws near. Let's pray that there will be a moral backlash and a groundswell call for a return to moral certainty and social security.

Kimmy, what I like about your poetry is, it is not so simply written that it can be read once and be understood. I find myself reading them two, three or four times to make sure I get the full flavor of the piece.

quite a poetic piece Kim, I guess I should say good luck on putting a million year old mess back together, I know you've read or heard about Sodom & Gomora in the bible, if I spelled it right

My son wrote a book of his personal, one liner quotes. Never underestimate the power of simple statements! A very interesting read!
