If you are a young Boy, Girl, Darling Child, 
and Baby:  This is what I see.

And so will you too if you grow to be as ordinary, wise and as old as me.

If you will allow, your facade to fade. We can see the beautiful Person God has made.

Life is but a flicker,  except it turns to dust...
Get busy, it takes time to reach the crust.

But when the clay returns to the masters hand, we are restored to His original plan.

God will transform you for His Glory. 
You will be joyful as you tell His Story.

"Stay in School...don't forget to pray,
before God,  bow down on your knees."

When you are grown, you will see, 
always a child to me, you will be.
