Poem Artwork

Well son, I tell you,

Life for me ain't been no crystal stair,
it's had tacks in it and and splinters and
boards torns up,
child places wid no carpet on the floor,
bare,
but all the time child I'se been climbing on
and reaching higher landings and turning corners
and sometimes goin out there in the dark where
there ain't been no light.

So boy, don't you turn back, don't stop now,
don't you sit down on them step
cause you finds it kinda hard.
Cause honey, I'se still climbing
I'se climbing on and life for me
ain't been no crystal stair.

         ~  ~ ~ ~ ~

Go on boy serve God,
Serve your country and shine your light.
Make mama proud of you....go on
Don't forget...give mama a hug....

                 ~~~
Don't you know God is able and He will carry you through.....
Well ... here's a big ole hug for you mama.
A big ole squeeze that takes your breath.
It's easy to visualize you on stage doing this.
This is quite brilliant.
Blessings ...
