Juliet’s Heart


This tapestry of words described,
Cupid’s arrow found its mark outside.
Two hearts that beat, to sounds both know,
A rhythm felt on a grassy knoll.

Juliet cups her hand in stream,
Fulfilling Romeo’s need to dream.
Both reach out to touch, embrace,
Solace sought, seeking face.

A reverent view her eyes do see,
The stars in eyes, mountain history.
The orb of heavens, view so bold,
Twinkling lights are videoed.

The smells of nature’s perfume,
A flower now known is in full bloom.
The threads of nature grow two hearts,
Cupid’s arrow, found Juliet’s heart.
