For Such a Time as This

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

Poem Artwork
For Such a Time as This

Crying, I look back from the time that I was born,
Not knowing what to do, as a baby feeling storms.
Crying, I look back wanting friends I never had,
Bullies took advantage, making many kids real sad.
Crying, I look back trying to fit in,
Wanting to be part of a team, the last one picked in gym.
Crying, I look back the day I found Jesus Christ,
Took my sadness, bore my sins, and paid the ultimate price.
Crying, I look back when I birthed my newborn child,
Its beauty overwhelming, especially when it smiled.
Crying, I look back for marriage that didn’t work,
Circumstances and the heartache, for all of us it hurts.
Crying, I look back to the wars of different kinds,
Believing nations fix them, a lie that’s in our minds.
Crying, I look back to travesty in the world,
Seeing mankind unearthed, through God’s tools he uses pearls.
Crying, I look back at the written word from long ago,
Told stories for us all to hear, sharing so we would know.
Crying, I look back we’ve been warned and not to miss,
When Christ returns upon that cloud, “For Such a Time as This”.

some people feel its not necessary for tears and certainly, we don't cry all the time to depress us and prevent daily functioning...but every once in a while, humble tears, for whatever reason, washes the eyes of the soul and enables once to see Jesus so much clearer. well done.

Teresa,
I don't feel it will be long before Jesus' return, and all tears will be wiped and all pain gone.

Many blessings,

Let us hope that you can stop crying soon, because tomorrow is a new day, and tragedies happen. It's not your fault.
